I am so excited about my new camera (Canon 20D)!!!!!!!! My kids are probably tired of me following them around all day shooting...except for Kaylee...she starts dancing when I get the camera out. So, if anyone needs pics for anything, call me!!! Anyway, these are some random pics that I took of Sydney today trying to figure out how to use everything on the camera.

SUMMER TIME!!!!
Today we made it official at our house: It's Summer Time!!! We filled up the swimming pools, hooked up the sprinklers, and had some fun in the sun!!! Sorry the pics aren't that great...my camera wasn't cooperating. (If the girls look a little pale, don't worry, it's just the sunscreen that I caked on them:)

SURPRISE!!!!
RonRon and Steven surprised us and came to Texas this past week. Yeah!!! We had fun eating BBQ, making cakes, taking pictures, dying Easter eggs, etc. Here are a few pics of the Easter egg fun:

"I WEAR MY SUNGLASSES AT NIGHT..."
I put the girls to bed tonight and about 10 minutes later Kaylee starts yelling that she is thirsty. I got some water, walked into the bedroom, turned on the little lamp, and this is what I saw:

And of course Big Sister had to have her picture taken also.

ZOO DAY
Sydney is ready to go!
Brooke is ready to go!!!
I took this from really far away. Kaylee didn't know that we were also going to the zoo.
Feeding the ducks:
Sydney trying to escape:
Kaylee decided to claim us at this point (about 10 minutes later). She said, "Miss Julie, my mom is here!!!"
Kaylee's class checking out the turtles:
Cheese!!!
Kaylee was really worried about the huge turtle in this aquarium. "Miss Julie, look, he is stuck!"
We bought crackers to feed the animals. We fed the ducks and the turtles, but Brooke couldn't restrain herself. While we were in the aquarium section, she decided to partake of the crackers (don't worry...they are edible... just regular rye crackers). She wasn't real sure it was ok to eat the animals' crackers: this is her guilty face:
This is Ali. She is from Mexico and is learning to speak better English. She is a sweetie.
Brooke always fanoogles her way into the class. She fit right in (notice she is still munching on the crackers):
Kaylee was off to eat lunch and Brooke wanted to go with her, but I finally talked her into finishing our zoo trip.
This monkey cracks me up. He always comes up to the window and smashes his nose against it and watches everything we do. He was really checking out Brooke's cracker and Sydney's bottle.
And finally, our favorite: feeding the giraffes. Luckily, we had some crackers that Brooke hadn't devoured yet. We emptied our cracker package and finished up our zoo trip with a quick look at the zebras.
